Program Overview This is a peer tutoring club open to any Pope student. Tutors have been selected based on academic performance, character, and communication abilities. Studentswhorequesttutoring(tutees)willsign up using an online form.Thetutoringcommitteewillmatchthesestudentswith tutorsand the tutor will contact the tutee with a date/time for the tutoring session (to take place at Pope). Currently, all tutoringsessions areone-on-oneand willtakeplacein the Media Center before or after school, during AO, or during X-Block. Tutors and tutees will sign a tutoring completion sheet at the end of each session. There are also opportunities to do tutoring once a week at Hightower Trail Middle School.
Service Hours Tutorswill havetheopportunityto earnservicehours in Interact Club, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and other clubs throughthePeerTutoringProgram.The tutoringcommitteewill provide a sheet that will be signed by both the tutor and the tutee at the end of each tutoring session for verification of hours. This form will be verified by Mrs. Zonin at the end of the semester.

Dues Dues are $15/year and are required.
